Description
ESD Wrist band is the first line of defense against electrostatic charge build up on the human body.
This ESD wrist strap continuous monitor continuously monitors the Wrist Strap to detect loss of continuity between operator and monitor and/or proper grounding. Broken coil cords and improper contact with the skin are detected instantly to alert the operator.
In order to protect sensitive electronic components, the maximum wrist strap resistance should not be more than 10MΩ
On the other hand, the resistance should not be less than 0.75MΩ as protection to the wearer from dangerous levels of voltage and current flow.
